Crystallex Increases Board, Appoints Mr. Mitchell Klein to Board of Directors

VANCOUVER - CRYSTALLEX INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION (AMEX: KRY; Toronto) Crystallex International Corporation (Amex: KRY; Toronto: KRY.) today announced that Mr. Mitchell Klein has joined the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Klein is the second additional Board member announced by the Company this week.

Mr. Klein is a partner with Goodman, Phillips & Vineberg, one of Canada's leading international law firms. He is a Member of the Bar of Quebec and the Quebec Institute of Chartered Accountants, and serves as a director of several Canadian corporations. Formerly, Mr. Klein was a lecturer in taxation at McGill University.

Mr. Klein is President of the Maimonides Geriatric Hospital Foundation and co-founded the Hiawatha Arts Festival (predecessor of St. Sauveur Arts Festival). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sir George Williams University (Concordia), and a Bachelor of Law degree from McGill University, and is a member of the Order of Chartered Accountants. Mr. Klein currently resides in Montreal.
