Crystallex International Corporation (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce the appointment to the Board of Directors of Mr. W. Robert Dengler.

Mr. Dengler brings to the Company 30 years of experience in mining operations and engineering and for seven years he has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dynatec International Limited. Mr. Dengler is acknowledged as being a seasoned mining executive in all operational aspects, having been involved, through the Dynatec group of companies, in major projects with, among others, Barrick, Placer Dome, INCO, Falconbridge, Cameco and Newmont. His hands-on experience will be invaluable to the Company with both its current portfolio of properties and with future acquisitions as the Company diversifies and expands globally.
